what is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a well-researched, solutions-focused approach to treating mental health issues like anxiety, depression, habits and more. CBT is based on the premise that our Thoughts, Emotions and Behaviors are interconnected, and if we can change the way we think, we can change the way we feel, and in turn, change the way we behave, interact with others, and move through the world. CBT invites us to become more aware of how our core beliefs and distorted thoughts drive our negative emotions and behaviors, and learn strategies to challenge and change them.
